One of our clients, a local golf course was faced with a sudden increase in vandalism. We carried out a detailed site survey and concluded that the security camera’s they had in place did not cover the relevant areas, were not sharp enough and had a low frame rate. We upgraded their system to the latest high definition network cameras and installed a new recorder with a massive hard drive. This enabled high resolution images of the appropriate views. Within a month, the perpetrators were caught in action. They drove around the car park in front of the new cameras, unaware of their presence and new capabilities. Despite their denials our new surveillance system could clearly identify them and their vehicle to the police. They have since been apprehended.
